PEMUTERAN TOURIST INFORMATION
PEMUTERAN is one of a traditional village located in the North West coast of Bali, approximately 3 hours drive by car from Denpasar Airport, Pass-by Bedugul market, 2 lakes ( Buyan & Tamblingan), Munduk waterfall, beautiful rice terrace and clove & coffee plantation. From Lovina area is about 1 hour and from Gilimanuk (harbor from Java by ferry ) is about 35 minutes by car.
Pemuteran village is surrounding by 5 sacred temples and beautiful mountain structure scenery on the backyard. You can climb it for finds fantastic sunrise and sunset view. A peaceful area with nice ideal for you doing nature excursions, exploring the sacred temples surrounding the area such as Pulaki, Pabean, Melanting, Kerta Kawat and Pemuteran Temple , sport activities such as trekking at the National Park, swimming at the sea, dive spot for snorkeling and diving activities directly at the beach. The Menjangan Island diving site is located about 20 minutes by car and 45 minutes by boat.
Most people of pemuteran are live from the sea. This bay has shallow coral reefs and its was the biggest one in Bali. The reefs are protected by local people by community, No-fishing zones and its for tourism used only. The sea has a calm wave, easily accessible and you can swim safety.
***LANGUAGES***
The national language is Indonesian. There are about 300 different dialects in Indonesia but they speak Balinese, Indonesian and some English. Some of the populations on this area understand English, but they speak only some common daily words.
***WETHERS AND TEMPERATURES***There are only two season which are rainy season starting November until April and dry season starting April until october. The average yearly temperatures are approximately 27 - 30 degree.

Our currency is Rupiah (IDR), there are 2 kinds of IDR:
- Coins : Rp. 100, Rp. 200, Rp. 500, and Rp. 1'000
- Papers : Rp. 100'000, Rp. 50'000, Rp. 20'000, Rp. 10'000, Rp. 5'000 and Rp. 1'000
***MONEY CHANGER***
There will be some money changers arround the village and Rupiah rate become different everyday that means exchange rate will be always different from yesterday rate.
Attention for USD bank notes: our bank will not accept USD in bad condition, scratched, series with CA, CB, CF, DB, DH, big notes printed before 2005 or old money.
***ATM MACHINE***
There will be NO ATM machine in this area. So please prepare cash money during your holiday in Pemuteran. The ATM machines are available in Seririt area ( it’s about 35km )
